Regardless of what is written elsewhere in this paragraph, if the parties want to implement the judgment through settlement or reconciliation, they can make a joint application to the court mentioning the same procedure. (2) If an application is received from the parties for settlement or conciliation in accordance with sub-section (1), the court shall give an opportunity to the parties to implement the judgment through settlement or conciliation within a reasonable period.
(3) If the parties agree to implement the judgment through a settlement or conciliation within the period given under sub-section (2), the concerned court or the officer in charge of the Tehsildar of the court shall make a settlement between the parties in accordance with the law.
(4) If the parties do not agree to execute the judgment by means of settlement or conciliation within the period as per sub-section (2), the court shall implement the judgment by following the procedure as per this paragraph.
